As a GE Appliances Financial Analyst of FP&A you’ll drive improvements in the analysis, reporting, forecasting, and budgeting of the business’s productivity metrics around inventory and cash flow including inventory turns, sales & production planning, orders trends, days sales and payables outstanding, and CFOA. In this role, you will be critical to the FP&A and Fulfillment/Logistics team’s success through development of estimates, sensitivities, new weekly/monthly reporting, and annual Budget activities.
You will play a critical role in analyzing the company’s working capital and cash flows and will have the ability to provide senior leadership with the information they need. This role provides significant exposure to the Executive Director - FP&A, CFO, broader finance organization leaders, Executive Director – Treasury and Executive Director – Fulfillment/Logistics while operating in a dynamic environment with unique challenges to solve.

What will you do? The chosen candidate for this position…
Reporting and Analysis:
Collaborates with the Cash FP&A Senior Manager to analyze monthly financial performance, identify trends, and provides insights to support strategic decision-making around the business’s sales & operations planning, inventory productivity, and working capital metrics.
Serves as the finance partner for the Logistics/Fulfillment team to support business operations objectives, defines the right metrics to measure success, and reports results to the business.
Provides analysis to support Parent company, Haier Smart Home International, FP&A.
Development of New Reporting Frameworks:
Drives the development of new and simplified reporting frameworks for inventory balances and productivity metrics, order trends and how they translate to sales, and operational productivity and its impact on inventory to enhance visibility and decision-making processes.
Works closely with cross-functional teams to understand reporting requirements and develop innovative solutions to streamline reporting processes.
Cash Flow Projection:
- Assists in the development and maintenance of cash flow projections, providing accurate forecasts and insights into cash flow trends to support short-term and long-term financial planning.
Data Analysis and Visualization:
Has the ability to work with large data sets, conduct comprehensive analysis, and generate actionable insights to present to business leaders.
Utilizes data visualization tools such as Tableau or SAAS to analyze complex data sets and present findings in a clear and concise manner.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
The ideal candidate for this position has the following Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
University Degree or equivalent experience and a minimum of 3 years prior relevant experience.
Strong proficiency in manipulating and analyzing large datasets
Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail and the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insights.
Independently sets objectives for own tasks to meet the goals of projects or assignments.
Has the ability to influence others within the job area through explanation of facts, policies, and practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced experience working within Microsoft Excel & PowerPoint
Familiarity with FP&A reporting accounting system i/e Oracle, Hyperion.
Experience in data visualization tools such as Tableau, SAAS, or Power BI.
