Sales Generation Specialist – Builder Channel

The Challenge

The Sales Generation Specialist is an entry level sales support position responsible for all inside (telephone) sales activities related to prospecting and building a pipeline of qualified opportunities for the builder channel. Obtain sales leads by utilizing lead lists and managing information in Dynamics 365 CRM.

What you will Do

Essential Responsibilities:

• Generate new business opportunities to support the sales team and fill sales pipeline

• Make outbound calls to qualify sales leads; identify the key decision maker and obtain project information regarding location, number of units, bid date and product specified for project

• Forward sales opportunities to Area Sales Managers and Direct Sales Team; conduct routine follow up to move opportunities through the sales pipeline

• Manage activities and information relating to leads and opportunities in Dynamics 365 CRM; own lead management process from lead generation to completion

• Build and maintain relationships with Region Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Direct Sales Team

• Other duties as assigned

What you need to Succeed

Required:

  • Bachelor degree or better in Business

  • Job is located in Louisville, KY

Preferred :

  • Possess excellent communication, organization and presentation skills

  • Proven ability to develop, organize and implement sales plans

  • Must be a change agent and focused on sales growth

  • Demonstrated ability to succeed in a self-directed environment

  • Ability to be flexible with schedule to accommodate time zone differences in customer territories

  • Stong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

  • Prior experience in the Appliances industry

  • Desire to be geographically mobile for consideration of future field-based sales positions preferred
